Camp Kawartha received the stewardship award for "continuing to find creative ways to deliver its mission of creating positive stewards of our natural and human communities."

Jacob Rodenburg, Executive Director of Camp Kawartha, received the Ontario Society of Environmental Educators Leadership in Environmental Education Award offered annually to one or more persons who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in Environmental Education for at least five years.
