Traditional Skills

Learn how traditional people survived in harsh northern conditions. See an authentic traditional encampment complete with a wikiup (a kind of thatched shelter), a wigwam and authentic stone tools. Build a fire by using the bow drill, hand drill and the flint and steel method, learn how to make natural cordage and how to make a warm shelter using natural materials. An exciting hands-on program taught by our talented staff.
