Pre-Leadership Camp

This dynamic program gives veteran campers and new campers alike a more intensive program with an extra week to experience more adventure and help prepare for our tripping and leadership programs.
During the concurrent two-week regular sessions PLC campers will be involved with the regular camp in morning exposure periods. Afternoons will be spent on exclusive Pre-Leadership programs, team building, skills enhancement, and out trips. PLC campers will still participate in camp-wide theme days, evening programs, and special interest choice periods. In addition, PLC campers will occasionally have their own evening programs.
The other week will be dominated by a canoe trip, and conclude with activities allowing campers the opportunity to reflect and celebrate their accomplishments
This is a perfect program for campers who, in the past, have come for more than one session. Most importantly, it allows campers to be integrated within a group where campers must learn to work together. It’s also great for building confidence and self-esteem through team building.
PLC will be led by highly qualified and experienced staff. These staff will be vital in delivering a rewarding and unforgettable summer; setting the foundation towards future leadership opportunities and cultivating the positive attributes and human qualities that our society values.
